Hey, I'm Sydney —
I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a Jacksonville-based wedding photographer and videographer, and I've been documenting weddings for twelve years. Before that, I spent time in professional theatre, early childhood education, and as a vet assistant — all experiences that taught me how to stay calm under pressure, read a room, and meet people exactly where they are. Those skills transfer surprisingly well to wedding days and photographing families.

Photography found me through my sister Sammantha, who was already shooting weddings when I was just a teenager. I picked up a camera, fell completely in love with it, and never put it down. She gave me the opportunity to second shoot alongside her, and I spent my teenage years learning the craft under her wing. Eventually I took the leap and opened my own company — and I genuinely can't imagine doing anything else.

What I actually believe about wedding photography.

I believe the best wedding photos happen when you stop trying to make them happen. My job is to create the conditions for real moments — to guide you just enough so you feel comfortable, then step back and let the connection between you two do the rest.

My editing style is bright, true-to-color, and timeless. No heavy filters. No trendy tones that'll look dated in five years. When you open your gallery, I want you to feel like you're right back in that moment — not like you're looking at a stylized version of it.

A little more about me.

When I'm not documenting weddings, you'll find me at Walt Disney World with my family (annual passholder, proud Disney lover, zero apologies), playing with my two adorable corgis, or somewhere trying new food with the people I love. I'm a music lover, a trivia nerd, and a lifelong animal lover — which means yes, I will absolutely tear up when your dog is in the wedding.

I've been published, recognized by Zola three years running, and I work with couples from all different backgrounds and celebration styles. Whether your wedding is a 200-person ballroom event or an intimate backyard ceremony, I show up the same way — excited, prepared, and ready to capture every real, beautiful thing that happens.

I'd love to hear about your wedding. Let's chat.

Sydney

The stuff that makes me, me.

Disney Annual Passholder

Proudly obsessed and zero apologies about it. If you want to talk Disney itineraries, dining reservations, or ride strategy — I'm your person.

Dog Mom x2

Meet Jax and Juliette — two Pembroke Welsh Corgis who absolutely run the house. Pets are always welcome at sessions and weddings. Always.

Former Vet Assistant

Yep, I used to work with animals for a living. Staying calm under pressure, reading a room, and being gentle with nervous people? Basically my superpower.

Music Lover

Life without a good playlist is not a life I want. My editing sessions run on Elton John, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Elvis, and all the classic rock the 60s through 80s had to offer.

12+ Years Behind the Lens

Full-time for over nine years. I've photographed hundreds of love stories across the country — and I still get butterflies on wedding mornings.

Love to Travel

Destination wedding? Let's go. Recent weddings have taken me to Malibu, Alaska, Cancun, and Maine — and I'm always down for the next adventure.

Theatre Kid at Heart

Before photography, I spent years in professional theatre. Storytelling, timing, and knowing how to read an audience? That training still shows up in my work every single day.

Family First

Everything I do — the long hours, the travel, the late-night edits — comes back to the people I love. When you invite me into your wedding day, I treat your family like my own.

A Team Behind the Magic

On bigger wedding days, I bring in a trusted team of second shooters and videographers I've worked with for years. You get the same warmth, same style, and a whole lot more coverage.

Vendor Community Champion

Great weddings are a team effort. I believe in lifting up the incredible vendors around me — florists, planners, DJs, caterers — because when we all show up for each other, your wedding day is that much more magical.

What guides every single
wedding I photograph.

Real over posed.

I'll direct you when it helps, but I'm never going to have you hold a stiff pose for five minutes. The best images come from genuine connection, and that can't be forced.

Bright & true to color.

No moody filters. No trendy tones. Your photos should look like your actual wedding day — the colors you remember, the light that was actually there.

You should enjoy your day.

My goal is for you to be fully present — laughing, crying, dancing — and trust that I've got it covered. You hired me so you don't have to think about photos all day.

Communication matters.

I respond quickly, I keep you in the loop, and I make sure you know what to expect from start to finish. No ghosting, no confusion, no surprises.

Stories worth keeping.

I photograph for the long game. Images that your kids will look at. That you'll hang on your wall. That will make you feel something twenty years from now.

Consistency you can count on.

Every image in your gallery gets the same care and attention. I don't rush edits or cut corners on delivery. You'll receive your full gallery knowing every photo is my best work.

Let's make something
beautiful together.
